Job Description:
Key Objectives: Risk Assessment: Offer coverage, terms and
conditions which generate a profit for the Company while meeting
the needs of the customer: Identify general casualty and/or
environmental risk exposures, special or common hazards, and
appropriate controls Select risk based on exposure and risk
analysis Analyze claims, financials and quantify losses Marketing
and Communications : Sell and negotiate to achieve bottom line
profitability for the Company Make presentations and communicate
articulately Base communications on strategic thinking Manage
producer strategy Systems and Programs: Daily tasks are handled
through the use of proprietary systems and software programs; thus
the candidate must be able to learn and utilize such systems.
Additional Responsibilities: Solicits new and renewal submissions
from brokers Determines terms and conditions and complex rating
plans Quotes/Binds coverage Documents the underwriting files
Develop/maintain internal/external client relationships Takes
ownership of given production goals and utilizes all available
department resources to achieve said goals Education & Experience:
Bachelors degree Experience in underwriting environmental lines of
business. This includes but is not limited to the following
coverage lines: Commercial General Liability, Contractors Pollution
Liability, Professional Liability, Site Pollution Liability, Excess
Liability, Business Auto Experience working in the
E&S/wholesale market space is preferred Desired Qualifications:
Possess Underwriting knowledge including: Exposure Analysis and
Forms & Coverages Rating Principles and Mechanics Proficiency in
Typing and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook,
PowerPoint) Strong Oral and Written Communication Skills Strong
Organizational skills with attention to detail Proven Broker
Relations & Customer Management skill set Ability to work
effectively in a team Negotiation & Presentation Skills Strong
Business Acumen The pay range for the role is $60,700 to $103,300.
The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other
factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a
discretionary annual incentive program. Chubb offers a

adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the
