Director of Accounting plays a key leadership role in supporting
the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of the company’s General
Ledger and financial reporting. Reporting to the Senior Director of
Accounting, this role partners closely with FP&A, Tax, and
cross-functional teams to ensure strong accounting operations,
effective internal controls, and continuous process improvement.
This is an impactful role for a detail-oriented accounting leader
who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys improving
processes, developing people, and supporting scalable financial
operations. Responsibilities: Accounting Operations Support the
Senior Director of Accounting in managing day-to-day and month-end
accounting operations Oversee General Ledger activities including
journal entry review, balance sheet reconciliations, and account
analysis Help ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and
year-end close processes Maintain compliance with U.S. GAAP,
including ASC 842, 810, 805, 606, 330 and 326 Assist with
consolidation processes and maintenance of a standardized chart of
accounts Support documentation and adherence to internal controls
across accounting processes Team Leadership Supervise and mentor a
team of accountants, promoting accountability, accuracy, and
collaboration Support ongoing training and development to enhance
technical and systems knowledge Help foster a positive,
solutions-oriented team culture aligned with departmental goals
Financial Reporting Support preparation and review of monthly,
quarterly, and annual financial statements Perform financial
analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas of concern Ensure
accuracy of supporting schedules and General Ledger data Compliance
& Audit Assist in maintaining compliance with internal controls and
accounting policies Support coordination of internal and external
audits, including preparation of documentation and audit schedules
Respond to auditor requests and assist with follow-up items Process
Improvement Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes,
controls, and reporting efficiency Partner with the Senior Director
of Accounting on implementation of best practices and scalable
procedures Support financial integration activities for
acquisitions, including data validation and close support Budgeting
& Forecasting Support Partner with FP&A and department leaders
to provide accounting input into budgeting and forecasting Assist
with monthly spending reviews and variance analysis Systems & Data
Integrity Support ongoing maintenance and optimization of financial
systems and reporting tools Collaborate with IT and Finance teams
to improve system workflows and data accuracy Participate in system
enhancements, upgrades, and process automation initiatives
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or
related field CPA required 7–10 years of progressive accounting
experience with a focus on General Ledger and financial reporting
Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal control
practices Experience supporting accounting close cycles and audit
readiness Experience working in multi-entity or growing
organizations preferred Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems
such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms Advanced
Microsoft Excel skills Strong analytical, organizational, and
problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in
a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills and ability
to collaborate cross-functionally Detail-oriented with a proactive,
