Meyer Distributing is looking for a General Maintenance Technician - exterior to join our Arlington team - we are hiring immediately! Meyer Distributing is a leader in automotive specialty products marketing and warehouse distribution. The General Maintenance Technician assists in building maintenance of electrical, plumbing, carpentry and grounds. This includes general maintenance, upkeep, repairs and improvement of the building. License Requirements: Requires a valid driver's license Experience: Previous warehouse maintenance or building maintenance experience preferred Training: Minimum one month on the job training required Requirements for Landscaper and Outdoor maintenance: Ability to give special attention to detail Must have ability to recognize letters and numbers Must have strong verbal communication skills Must be able to lift 75 pounds Benefits for Outdoor Maintenance Technician: Medical Vision Dental Disability Life Insurance 401K with Company Match Paid Vacation Paid Holidays Personal Days Available 20% Employee Discount Casual Dress Code Health Savings Account Tuition Reimbursement Options Available Schedule: Monday through Friday 6am to 2:45pm Pay: Up to $21 depending on experience General Maintenance Technician duties include but are not limited to: Weed eating Landscaping Painting Basic cleaning and upkeep of buildings All other duties as assigned Make repairs and changes to configurations in the warehouse, includes: painting, moving furniture, drywall, basic plumbing, basic electrical, etc. Install and repair wifi thermostats Perform physical inspections and preventative maintenance Perform ac repair work and all other maintenance related repairs All other duties as assigned "military friendly" General Maintenance technician, Maintenance Technician, Outdoor Maintenance Requirements:
