UniFirst Corporation, a leader in the provision of workplace uniforms and protective workwear, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and enhance the functioning of our facilities maintenance operations. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising our maintenance team, optimizing maintenance procedures, and ensuring all equipment and facilities are functioning at peak efficiency. Oversee daily operations of the maintenance department and ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards. Plan, schedule, and oversee regular maintenance and repairs of facilities and equipment to minimize downtime. Manage and train maintenance personnel, providing guidance and support to enhance skills and ensure high performance. Develop and implement maintenance procedures and systems that increase efficiency and reduce costs. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance and repair activities while minimizing impact on production. Monitor inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment, and place orders as necessary. Prepare and maintain records and reports on maintenance activities and expenses. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and maintain a safe working environment. Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent organizational and project management abilities Proficient in using maintenance management software Understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems Knowledgeable in OSHA and safety regulations Ability to troubleshoot complex problems effectively Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) preferred OSHA Safety Certification
