We are currently seeking an Electromechanical Technician for our manufacturing/bottling facility to maintain, fix, and improve equipment used in bottling and packaging operations. Factory Location: Hawkins, TX Compensation: $39.35/hour Shift differential: 6%-8% of base hourly rate paid for applicable hours worked Schedule: Schedule: Day shift 5:30am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday Benefits of working for Primo Brands: Health Benefits: Medical, prescription, dental, vision, flexible spending account (FSA), dependent care flexible spending account (FSA), health savings account (HSA) Retirement/Investing: 401K with a 5% match, Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) Insurance: Employee Life Insurance, short and long-term disability, critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, spouse/domestic partner/child life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment Other great benefits: Employee discounts, save on auto, home, and pet insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation and sick time, 9 paid holidays and 3 paid floating holidays, paid leave for when you have a baby, adopt a child, or become a foster parent, legal services, identity theft protection, employee assistance program (EAP), adoption reimbursement benefit, FEDlogic, commuter benefits Responsibilities: Skills Required: Plan, lead, and execute preventative maintenance (PM) according to schedule to minimize equipment downtime Complete reactive maintenance on production lines to recover from equipment failures by repairing mechanical, electrical, and structural components Complete machine tear down/repair and assembly and work on PLCs, VFDs, and electric motors Conduct creative problem solving to identify and perform equipment improvements Coach operators and peers on basic maintenance concepts and optimal equipment settings Participate in special project work on equipment upgrades or installations Provide break relief to production operators or team members as needed Operate a forklift as needed to complete duties Support equipment installations, retrofits and upgrades to include vendors and contractors Troubleshoot/ investigate and repair all mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and utility systems including chillers, air compressors etc. Weld and Fabricate parts as needed to get the equipment back running Qualifications: Requirements/Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience; additional technical training or certifications desired Three or more years of previous maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment Demonstrated sense of urgency in completing tasks and comfort working in a high-speed production environment Strong mechanical and electrical skills; PLC experience desired Solid computer skills, including the use of Word, Excel, Outlook Experience with CMMS or ERP systems needed, SAP experience preferred Ability to work independently or with a team and communicate effectively Solid problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to coach others Must have electrical knowledge of single and three phase power including the ability to diagnose and replace electric motors Must be able to work and accomplish projects with little to zero supervision Must be able to foster and build a team-work environment Must be able to do physical inspections, (i.e. climbing, reaching, extending) Must be proficient with mechanical drawings and OEM technical prints for parts identification Able to lift and pull 50 lbs. as needed while performing work Willingness to work holidays and weekends as we are a 24/7 facility operating through most weekends and holidays Ability to successfully complete an online skills assessment prior to onsite interview Candidates must possess strong English language skills to effectively communicate with customers and provide exceptional service.
