major chiller brands Essential Duties. Service, Operates, Maintains
and Troubleshoots more complex Chillers (air - cooled chillers,
centrifugal chillers, water - cooled chillers) systems.
Demonstrated expertise in complete equipment teardown and
comprehensive system diagnostics. Coordinates work processes on
large projects. Performs disassembly and reassembly of large
commercial equipment to perform troubleshooting and planned
maintenance as indicated in the service agreement. Proficiently
operates hand tools, power tools, gauges and measuring equipment.
Completes service contracts, quoted projects and demand service
calls as directed. Develops long-term relationships with customers
and explains work performed to the customer's satisfaction. Ability
to provide customer solutions to customers. Communicates and
documents project status to all project stakeholders. Participates
in technician on-call-stand-by rotation as dictated by business
unit policies and procedures. Purchases materials and issues
purchase order numbers to suppliers. Safely operates motor vehicles
and trailers as evidenced by past driving performance record. Meets
requirements of fleet safety and driving policy and adheres to all
company safety requirements. Maintains equipment, tools, and
inventory stock on service vehicle. Able to work effectively with
app-based software. Minimum Requirements Proven track record with 7
years of specialized experience in Commercial Chiller Service,
demonstrating deep technical expertise and industry knowledge. Full
teardown Chiller is a plus. Experience with centrifugal and screw
chillers (Trane, York, Carrier, Daikin, etc.) Strong
troubleshooting skills on 200–1000 ton systems Knowledge of VFDs,
pumps, cooling towers, and BAS controls Advanced knowledge of
service processes, techniques and codes is required. Proficient in
reading complex schematics and prints Proven ability to excel as a
proactive, self-directed professional who can manage complex
projects with minimal supervision. Must be able to display a
professional demeanor, solid interpersonal skills with good written
and oral communication capabilities.
