Job Description:
Cox Automotive is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician
II to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in maintaining
the efficiency and reliability of vehicles, ensuring they meet the
company's high standards and customer satisfaction. At Cox
Automotive, we provide solutions that streamline automotive
operations and support industry players from manufacturers to
consumers. As an Automotive Technician II, you will be immersed in
all aspects of vehicle troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, and
maintenance. This position comes with a $4,000 New Hire Stay On
Bonus as an incentive for commitment and performance. Perform work
specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in
accordance with dealership and/or OEM standards Diagnose and repair
vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission,
electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc.,
Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a
non-technical manner to service advisors and customers Conduct
inspections, maintain and repair vehicles, and ensure functionality
and longevity Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that
customers are informed if any additional service is needed Perform
quality checks and adhere to company safety and performance
standards Profound knowledge of automotive systems and components
Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina Strong mechanical
aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to operate electronic
diagnostic equipment Good communication skills and the ability to
explain complex information High level of attention to detail
Medical Insurance 401k Certified Automotive Service Excellence
(ASE) technician Valid driver’s license State certifications may be
required
