world. The Raytheon Advanced Technology, Advanced Programs
Associate Director is responsible for the capture and execution of
strategic advanced development business as a growth engine for
Raytheon. The role will be responsible for a portfolio of programs
developing advanced RF solutions to include apertures, radomes,
skills and the technologies that feed these end products. You will
lead multiple cross-functional teams executing current CRAD
contracts, IRAD projects, and will support and lead capture
activities including proposals, win strategies, cost estimating
approach and analysis, and gate reviews for internal and external
customers. This role will report to the Sr. Director of The
Advanced Radio Frequency portfolio in the Airborne Spectrum
Dominance SSBU. Further responsibilities include developing and
communicating strategy and tactics to reduce cost, improve quality,
increase performance and reliability, and improve overall
competitiveness of Raytheon Advanced RF technology product lines
and lead the transition of technology into emerging EMD programs of
record. Daily interface with customers and program management in
communicating program progress, financial status, issues, and
opportunities. Additionally ensures risk / opportunity management
plans are comprehensive and executed to meet program and business
commitments. Ensure execution of the annual and 5-year business
plan to meet commitments to Raytheon. Selected candidate will be
accountable for identifying potential growth markets/opportunities.
Additionally, this leadership position will have responsibility for
developing complex strategies and roadmaps that increase win ratios
and grow Raytheon’s business. This role is Onsite in McKinney,
Texas. What You Will Do Establishing and maintaining strong
customer relationships, communicating status Working with customers
to shape requirements for new pursuits; Leading collaborative
efforts to identify and convert needs into solutions and conceptual
programs Communicating clearly and removing barriers to execution
Presenting program status utilizing business and project management
tools and procedures including IPDS, EVMS, IMS/IMP, Risk
Management, Financial Forecasts and EAC required program statuses
to the AT / ASD and Adv RF leadership team Attracting, retaining,
supervising and developing talent Must be able to travel between
Raytheon sites and visit customer locations in support of business
execution and growth requirements (~20% travel) Qualifications You
Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
experience and minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience, or an
Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience
Experience leading proposal activity Experience with managing cost,
schedule, and performance with use of program management tools such
as Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master
Schedule (IMS), Risk and Opportunity Management, or similar
business processes Experience managing development programs and for
DoW Laboratories, DARPA, ONR or similar customers within classified
environments An active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government
issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the
ability to obtain program access after start Qualifications We
Prefer Experience with RF Components, RF Subassemblies, RF
Subsystems and RF Systems Demonstrated success working with
customers to drive requirements PM Level 4 Certification, or
ability to obtain within one year Experience managing strategic
business to drive growth Hands-on experience working with customer
to derive requirements Advanced degree in Engineering, Engineering
Management, Math, Science or related technical discipline What We

role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a
good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX
