About the Role:
As a CBRE Digital Strategy & Innovation Senior Manager, you will
oversee a large team that focuses on the design, development, and
administration of advanced applications.
This job is part of the Digital Strategy and Innovation job
function. They are responsible for overseeing the implementation of
new digital e-business options.
What You'll Do:
- Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training
and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and
coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
- Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish
work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track
staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
- Develop the organization's digital strategy and create a
digital roadmap to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Point of contact for implementing initiatives that integrate
with the company's technology infrastructure.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improvement on
initiatives.
- Provide advanced tiered digital & technology support for end
users; troubleshoot complex technical problems.
- Design application development, infrastructure, or service
standards. Report on support metrics to identify trends that
warrant attention.
- Identify and solve technical and operational problems of
complexity.
- Work with vendors to deliver updates, resolve issues, and
manage product lifecycles.
- Serve as the digital & technology liaison for the area of
responsibility, primarily for internal clients.
- Apply a broad knowledge of the business, own discipline, and
how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and
departmental objectives.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with
CBRE RISE values. Influence others to adopt a different point of
view while being guided by policies and departmental plans.
- Identify and solve technical and operational problems of
complexity.
- Understand and recognize the broader impact across the
department.
- Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards
within job discipline.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 - 8 years of relevant
experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and
education will be considered.
- Ability to guide and influence others either internally or
externally to adopt a different point of view.
- Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training,
development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and
rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
- Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and
difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle
problems.
- Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad
operational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiple
job disciplines, and department.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples
include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Extensive organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive
mindset.
