Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at Christus Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with providers to ensure the best possible outcomes.Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients, including administering treatments and medications as prescribed.
• Assist with patient preparation, including obtaining vital signs and conducting initial assessments.
• Coordinate patient transfers to hospitals and ensure timely flow of patients.
• Respond to incoming telephone calls and communicate with patients and families regarding test results and medication instructions.
• Formulate and update patient care plans, including ordering and preparing patient charts.
• Maintain patient files and records, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA guidelines.
• Participate in professional development activities and maintain licensure and affiliations.
• Follow CHRISTUS Physician Group policies and procedures, including those related to quality assurance, safety, and infection control.Requirements
  • CERT
  • LVN License in state of employment or compact
  • BLS
