OVERVIEW
Thrive Behavior Centers is a locally owned company, founded in
2020.We provide center-based therapy to children diagnosed with
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). We specialize in personalized Early
Intensive Behavior Intervention (EIBI) and providing the support
our clients and their families need. We're looking for an
experienced BCBA who's ready to take the next steps in their

DUTIESRESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical Directors report directly to the Clinical Development
Director. Clinical Directors manage a reduced caseload in addition
to their supervisory responsibilities. These Duties and
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Creating personalized treatment plans for early learners with
measurable goals in accordance with the Thrive Behavior Centers
Treatment Model:
Determine treatment goals
Implement company clinical policies and procedures
Develop skill acquisition goals
Develop a function-based Behavior Intervention Plan
Create useful, practical parent training goals
Use appropriate assessments tools (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, PEAK, FBA,
etc.)
Provide ongoing and responsive case management which meets the
client's unique needs.
Appropriately supervise client in session
Add, modify, and update client goals, protocols and programs
Ensure client is in the least restrictive learning environment
based on their needs.
Provide thorough, timely program modifications, progress updates,
and insurance authorization reports
Provide direct ABA therapy to clients as needed
Demonstrate leadership qualities while providing effective training
and learning opportunities for employees.
Provide training and supervision for Behavior Technicians, Behavior
Analyst Interns
Provide supervision and appropriate learning opportunities for
Behavior Analyst Interns who are in the process of acquiring BCBA
certification.
Provide practical and compassionate parent education and training
to assist families in supporting the client's needs.
Demonstrate understanding of initial and ongoing authorization
requirements
Demonstrate fluency in the use of Central Reach Clinical Management
Software to maintain client programs, protocols, datasheets,
etc.
Model behaviors consistent with the mission and core values of
Thrive Behavior Centers. Model behavior consistent with the BACB
ethical code, TBC policies and procedures, privacy regulations and
respect for client dignity.
Manage clinical schedule to ensure optimal clinical outcomes
Track and evaluate usage of client billable hours to ensure maximum
usage and optimal client outcomes (supervision, parent training,
evaluations/assessments/authorization reports).*
Effectively lead your center to ensure client and employee
wellbeing.
Demonstrate leadership skills that align with TBC's mission and
core values.
Oversee, evaluate, and optimize staff morale, performance,
retention, and opportunities for professional development.
Develop and/or oversee the development of regular, relevant, and
effective ABA employee training
Partner with Center Training Coordinator to accomplish clinical
competency assessments and proactive performance reviews
Identify and mentor staff members who demonstrate potential for
growth and additional responsibilities.
Model and promote teamwork, effective and appropriate
communication, feedback, and responses to feedback
Address interpersonal challenges between staff members quickly and
efficiently, while implementing the mission and core values of
TBC.
Oversee Clinical Supervisors by ensuring clients are receiving
personalized, effective, developmentally appropriate ABA
therapy
Collaborate with the Chief Operating Officer and the operations
team to ensure smooth functioning of center
Complete any additional assigned tasks as directed.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Current BCBA certification and LBA license
At least two years' experience as a practicing BCBA
At least one year of experience with early intervention (managing
client cases who are working on acquiring early learner skills
including functional communication, play and adaptive skills) with
children with autism.
Masters' Degree in ABA, Special Education, or another related
field
Supervisory, leadership or management experience - 2 years
Current CPR/AED and/or BLS certification
The course taken must be accredited by the American Heart
Association and include an in-person skill demonstration. Any other
forms of CPR certification do not meet this requirement.
