Pay Information $1,628 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: PCU skill competency Description: General comments on the unit information include a bed capacity of 19. Staffing consists of 1 charge nurse, 5 nurses (RN or LVN), 2 patient care technicians, and 1 health unit coordinator on day shift. Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 5 nurses (RN or LVN), and 2 patient care technicians. Patient nurse ratios are typically 4-5:1. The unit utilizes EMR with Meditech software. Candidates without PCU skill competency will not be considered for the role. Neuro competency is preferred but not required. Typical procedures performed on the unit include various neuro-related assessments and interventions. The ideal candidate will fit well within the team and maintain a professional demeanor. Rotating weekends are expected as part of the job responsibilities. Dress code consists of royal blue scrubs for nurses and maroon scrubs for patient care technicians.
