Job Description - Shift/Schedule – Full Time Nights. 13 week
seasonal contract. 3/12 hr. self-scheduling shifts per week. -

team member. NICU Patient Population: Neonates Patient Ratios: 1:2,
1:3 depending on acuity Number of Beds: 17 (13 of which are private
rooms) Department Specifics: Level 3 NICU designation; Level 3
Maternal designation; NNP on-site 24/7; Opportunity to cross-train
to New Family Unit (Post-Partum/Well-Baby Nursery) & L&D,
Opportunity for RN’s to be involved in improvement projects, Shared

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Lake Pointe in Rowlett, TX is a
community-based hospital with all the benefits of an urban medical

footprint of outpatient services in the community including
physical medicine, wound care, sleep center, imaging, and two
free-standing Emergency Departments. These outpatient services
serve the communities of Rowlett, Forney, Wylie, and many more in
the surrounding area. Lake Pointe is licensed for 176 beds which
include three medical surgical units, an intensive care unit, Labor
& Delivery, New Family Unit, Antepartum, Neonatal Intensive Care,
Surgical Services, Cardiac Cath Lab, Endoscopy, Interventional
Radiology, and Emergency Department. The hospital carries multiple
designations including Level III Trauma, Chest Pain Accreditation,
Primary Stroke Accreditation, Maternal and Level III NICU. Nursing
is on their journey towards Pathways to Excellence and will seek

recognized nursing program or two years of relevant work experience
- A minimum of (1) one year's experience in the field of nursing -
A valid Registered Nurse license - The ability to obtain a Basic
Life Support certification within the first 30 days of
employment.
