This opportunity offers a flexible schedule with 12-hour physician shifts (7a-7p; 7p-7a) and 11-hour advanced practice provider coverage. The assignment involves working in a trauma facility, providing care across a range of acute cases. Job Details Location: Texas Facility Type: Trauma Facility Start Date: Oct 6, 2025 LOA: 120 days Provider Type Needed: Emergency Medicine Physician Schedule: 12-hour physician coverage (7a-7p; 7p-7a), 11-hour APP coverage (10a-10p), flexible schedule Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive emergency medical care in a trauma setting Manage cases including special services, ambulatory, obstetrics, surgery, emergency, and medical/surgical patients Stabilize and treat patients presenting with a variety of acute illnesses and injuries Collaborate with nurse practitioners and physician assistants during scheduled coverage Deliver care in a chest pain accredited facility with 24-hour physician coverage Additional Information Must hold a current Texas medical license, board certification in Emergency Medicine, and a valid Texas DEA Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Accepts residents for moonlighting opportunities Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
