week (Monday Thursday 12:30 PM 9:00 PM, Friday 10:00 AM 7:00 PM)
Job Summary Perform radiology procedures on ambulatory and hospital
patients under the supervision of a Radiologist, following
physician orders and established protocols. Ensure accurate imaging
for the diagnosis of disease and injury while maintaining patient
safety and high-quality care standards. Responsibilities Perform
high-quality radiology procedures according to established
protocols. Communicate effectively with patients and families to
explain procedures and ensure comfort. Prepare patients and
equipment, adjust immobilization devices, and set imaging controls.
Maintain compliance with safety, infection-control, and radiation
protocols. Maintain clean and functional equipment and work areas.
Document patient history, procedure details, and imaging results
accurately. Assist in maintaining inventory and reporting equipment
issues. Serve as a preceptor for training new staff and support
ongoing education initiatives. Provide first aid and emergency
response as needed. Take call if required. Qualifications Graduate
of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program. ARRT-R
Radiography Certification. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
(or obtain within 30 days of hire). Medical Radiologic Technologist
(MRT) license in the State of Texas. Less than 1 year of experience
acceptable; new graduates welcome.
