HCA Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist PEDS NICU CRT to join our dynamic healthcare team, specializing in pediatric and neonatal care. This critical role involves administering respiratory therapy as prescribed by a physician for the treatment of respiratory disorders, primarily in young children and infants. As a Respiratory Therapist at HCA Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art environment with advanced technology, contributing to our mission to improve human life by delivering exceptional patient care. Assess, diagnose, and treat infants and children with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders. Practice under the direction of a physician's orders and adhere to regulatory compliance requirements. Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans. Provide mechanical ventilation and airway management for patients who require intensive care. Educate family members on patient care and respiratory treatment plans. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals. In-depth knowledge of respiratory care procedures and equipment, especially as it pertains to neonatal and pediatric care. Ability to assess and adjust treatments according to patient responses and conditions. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the healthcare team and families.
