Diploma or Equivalent 2 Years work experience in invasive cardiology Req Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency Req /n Experience 1 Year vascular or cardiac angiography Pref or 2 Years required with high school diploma Req /n Cath Lab experience strongly preferred /n /n Licenses and Certifications ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire Req And GMRT - General Medical Radiologic Technologist If ARRT Only Upon Hire Pref Or RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Obtain within 6 months if graduate from Cardiovascular Accredited Program Upon Hire Req And LMRT - Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist If RCIS Only Upon Hire Pref Or RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist For Electrophysiology Labs (EP) Only Upon Hire Req And BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req And ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Req And CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Req /n Here’s What You’ll Do /n Patient Care /n /n - Prepares room for examination (i.e. suction, oxygen, supplies) /n - Checks physician orders and exam requisitions using time-out procedures /n /n Imaging Procedures, Quality and Processing /n /n - Adjusts technique parameters appropriately for age related factors /n - Assists radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique /n /n Equipment Operation and Maintenance /n /n - Troubleshoots and properly documents equipment malfunction /n - Maintains equipment and room to sanitary standards /n /n /n Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst-Euless-Bedford is a 296-bed, acute-care facility serving Northeast Tarrant County since 1973.
