Jackson Health Professionals is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in the education sector, providing tailored therapeutic services to students with diverse needs. This role involves assessing students' physical, social, and psychological needs, developing therapy plans, and implementing occupational therapies to enhance their educational experience and daily life skills. The ideal candidate will collaborate with educational staff and parents to support each student’s holistic development. Evaluate students' needs and establish therapeutic objectives. Develop and implement therapy programs tailored to the needs of the students. Collaborate with teaching staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into the school environment. Educate parents and school staff on the roles and benefits of occupational therapy. Maintain accurate and confidential student records and reports. Strong understanding of occupational therapy best practices in educational settings. Ability to devise and manage individualized therapy programs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in patient assessment and therapy software. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Occupational Therapist license. Preferably certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
