In this vital role, you will be responsible for providing expert respiratory care to newborns and children with acute or chronic respiratory disorders. Evaluate, treat, and care for patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders. Perform diagnostic tests such as measuring lung capacity. Collaborate with pediatricians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans. Educate patients and families on treatment plans and respiratory management. Monitor and manage ventilators and other life-support systems. Participate in clinical trials and remain current with advances in the field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle emotionally charged situations. Proficient in using healthcare information technology systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required. Current state license as a Respiratory Therapist. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association. NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification preferred.
