BE/BC General Gastroenterologist to join its practice at
UTHenderson, TX (34 miles east of Tyler, TX) and UT Jacksonville,
TX (27 miles south of Tyler, TX). About Your Work: - Join 4
physicians, 2 advanced providers and support staff - Supporting two
rural short term acute care hospitals – Henderson 96 bed-
Jacksonville 33 bed - Full-time employed position - No EUS or ERCP
required - Both inpatient and outpatient services - M-F 8am-5pm
(Clinic & Procedure days) - 20-30 patients expected per day -

Tyler School of Medicine: The University of Texas at Tyler School
of Medicine is the first medical school in East Texas and the
seventh in The University of Texas System. Its mission is to train
future healthcare professionals to embrace responsibility for the
unique needs of rural and hard-to-reach communities and
populations, particularly those in East Texas. The school offers a
robust Graduate Medical Education program, with 20 residency and
fellowship training programs, enabling graduates to gain

Henderson is a 96-bed short term acute care hospital offering
comprehensive medical services, including a 24-hour emergency
designated as a Level IV trauma center and Level III Stroke Center.
The facility features advanced surgical suites, state-of-the-art
diagnostic imaging, obstetrics, orthopedics, general surgery, and a
dedicated sleep laboratory. UT Health Jacksonville is a 33-bed
short-term acute care facility providing high-quality,
patient-centered care to the community. This facility is a 24-hour
emergency care center, designated as a Level IV Trauma Center and a
Level IV Acute Stroke Facility, providing critical and
time-sensitive care for a wide range of medical emergencies. It
includes a six-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to support patients
requiring close monitoring and advanced critical care. The Labor
and Delivery Department features modern LDRP suites (Labor,
Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum), ensuring a seamless and
family-centered childbirth experience. It also houses a Level I
nursery for the care of healthy newborns. The hospital is equipped
with fully functional surgical suites and state-of-the-art
diagnostic imaging technology, including 3D mammography, enhancing
early detection and diagnostic capabilities. Both UT Health
Henderson and UT Health Jacksonville are accredited by The Joint
Commission and were recently awarded an “A” grade in the 2025
Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade, reflecting their continued
commitment to excellence in patient safety and quality care. UT
Health East Texas is comprised of 9 hospitals, more than 90
clinics, the Olympic Plaza Tower, 13 regional rehabilitation
facilities, two freestanding emergency centers, regional home
health services covering 41 counties, an EMS fleet of more than 50
ambulances and four helicopters, and a comprehensive seven-trauma
center care network, including the region’s only Level 1 trauma
facility. In 2024, we also added six Urgent Care clinics to our
network. Our team includes nearly 400 employed providers and more
