Job Description Job Description Description: Make a lasting impression at the new Hotel Dax in Addison A Bellman greets hotel guests, assists with luggage (carrying, storing, delivering), escorts them to rooms, explains room features, arranges transportation, provides local info, and maintains lobby cleanliness, serving as a crucial first and last contact to ensure a positive guest experience. They handle tasks like delivering messages, responding to requests, and ensuring smooth check-ins/outs. Key Responsibilities Guest Greeting & Assistance: Warmly welcome guests, assist with door service, and help with check-in/out. Luggage Handling: Load, unload, transport, and store guest luggage efficiently. Room Orientation: Escort guests to rooms, explain room features (A/C, TV, phone, minibar), and report maintenance issues. Information & Recommendations: Provide directions, hotel details, and local attraction information. Transportation: Arrange taxis, shuttles, or other transportation for guests. Lobby Maintenance: Keep the lobby, entrance, and bell carts clean, tidy, and organized. Message & Delivery Service: Deliver mail, packages, flowers, and other items to guest rooms. Shuttle Service: The hotel will have a shuttle that travels within 3 miles of the hotel. Essential Skills & Qualifications Excellent customer service and communication skills. Physical ability to lift heavy items. Positive attitude and professional appearance. Knowledge of hotel services and local area. Flexibility to work various shifts. Must have valid drivers license.
