cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
Ensure the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently during
service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
workstations and equipment. Monitor food stock and place orders as
necessary to avoid shortages. Collaborate with other kitchen staff
to meet service times and quality standards. Adhere to health and
safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage.
Assist in menu planning and development by providing input on
seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Requirements Proven
experience as a cook or in a similar role in a restaurant setting.
Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment,
and procedures. Familiarity with health and safety regulations in
the kitchen. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under
pressure. Strong attention to detail and a passion for culinary
arts. Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends,
and holidays.
