Job Description:
Marriott International, a premier global lodging entity with a
presence in 139 countries, is seeking a skilled Baker to enhance
our culinary team. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for
baking combined with a flair for creating artisanal breads,
pastries, and customized baked goods in a high-volume, dynamic
environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring Marriott's commitment
to outstanding quality and service, providing guests with
exceptional food experiences reflective of our innovative
hospitality standards. Prepare a wide variety of baked goods such
as breads, pastries, and specialty desserts. Follow traditional and
creative recipes, and develop new recipes for seasonal menu items.
Ensure all products are prepared to the highest quality standards
for serving. Monitor stock levels and order baking supplies as
required. Uphold cleanliness and comply with food sanitation
standards at all times. Collaborate with the team to meet
production schedules and departmental goals. Strong baking skills,
including mixing, proofing, baking, and decorating techniques.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Creativity to innovate new recipes and adapt existing ones.
Excellent time management and organizational skills. Medical
