Job Description:
Purpose of this Job: This job is responsible for the human
resources needs and implementation of best practices to support
achievement of corporate business objectives. The Sr. HR Generalist
will support the various functions, including Employee Relations,
Benefit Administration, Compensation Management, Compliance,
Recruiting, Succession Planning, Talent & Development, Payroll and
Training. Acts as a liaison between employee and management to
answer questions or concerns regarding company policies, practices,
and regulations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Talent acquisition - source, interview, and screen candidates
with hiring managers
- Implement Succession plan - identifying the critical positions
within the organization and developing action plans for individuals
to assume those positions
- Talent and Development - coordinate efforts to build upon
employees' existing skills while identifying new skills and
opportunities to help achieve organizational goals
- Drive performance management initiatives for the business
- Develop and implement company brand & onboarding activities for
new employees.
- HR System & Reporting - Assist with data maintenance and
integrity of the HR System [Paylocity]
- HR Compliance - ensure the company complies with EEO/AAP/DOL &
OSHA; Stay up to date and comply with changes in legislation
- Responsible for administration of welfare & benefit plans,
enrollment, resolving claim issues, ensuring benefit compliance &
accuracy of billing
- Support HR best practices on core program rollout of
compensation and performance management programs (merit planning,
VCP, succession planning, equity)
- Assist in annual retirement plan testing and audits [401k &
Pension] - 5500 reporting
- Coordinate employee engagement and employee recognition
activities
- Administer payroll for hourly and semi-monthly employees,
backup to the Payroll Analyst Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or
related field
- 5-7 years' experience in Human Resources
- 2 + years of experience in a manufacturing environment
preferred

- Working knowledge of Paylocity or HR software equivalent
- Working knowledge of welfare and retirement plans [401k &
Pension] Desirable Qualification:
- HR Certification preferred - SHRM or other Work
Environment:Work conditions are consistent with a general office
environment. Sitting for extended periods of time will require good
office ergonomics. Potential for exposure to the manufacturing
environment will require the understanding and use of required PPE
applicable to that environment.Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Provide support on evenings & weekends (as needed)Primary Work
