agricultural solutions, and we’re hiring a Logistics & Supply Chain
Specialist to support daily operations across procurement,
logistics, inventory, and global shipping. This is a great role for

meaningful, mission-driven work. Summary/Objective: The Logistics &
Supply Chain Specialist supports AgBiTech US day-to-day operational
logistics and inventory activities, with responsibilities in vendor
coordination, freight documentation, landed cost tracking, and
export compliance execution. The role contributes to efficient
purchasing, inventory planning, and domestic/international shipping
while maintaining accurate documentation and alignment with global
operations. This position helps ensure supply continuity, optimize
supplier performance, and maintain compliance in regulated export
markets through data-driven processes and cross-functional
coordination. Essential Functions: Logistics and Shipping
Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including
commercial documentation preparation, export bookings (ocean and
air), and shipment coordination. Support relationships with freight
forwarders, couriers, and customs brokers. Participate in rate
reviews and assist in obtaining competitive quotes Coordinate
shipments to Brazil, Australia, and additional export markets,
ensuring timely, compliant delivery. Arrange domestic freight and
courier services and maintain accurate shipment records. Manage
shipment entries and data accuracy in the Global Shipping
Application. Liaise with global operations teams to coordinate
shipping schedules and resolve logistical challenges. Procurement
and Inventory Management Create and manage purchase orders for raw
materials, packaging, and operating supplies; communicate order
status and lead times with suppliers. Coordinate receiving
documentation and invoice matching with onsite teams; maintain
organized procurement and receiving records in QuickBase. Assist
with monthly physical stock takes. Update and maintain the weekly
production and inventory forecast. Track material and supply usage
to support cost-efficiency analysis. Monitor landed cost impacts
(material, freight, surcharges) and provide visibility into cost
changes. Vendor, Contract, and Cost Management Support supplier and
freight contract renewal activities, including scheduling reviews,
obtaining comparative bids, and coordinating negotiation
discussions. Evaluate supplier and service provider performance
using cost, reliability, and lead time metrics. Maintain a vendor
scorecard and recommend supplier changes or improvement actions as
needed. Conduct research and due diligence to support supplier
selection and cost improvement efforts. Export Compliance and
Documentation Maintain export compliance documentation and assist
in updates to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Ensure
commercial documentation aligns with regulatory/quality
requirements and market-specific certifications. Act as a key point
of contact for freight forwarders and customs brokers regarding
compliance or documentation questions. Train internal staff and
global partners on export documentation standards and version
control. Maintain records in support of audit readiness and
traceability requirements. Demand and Supply Planning Coordination
Identify supply risks (stockouts, safety stock gaps, shipment
timing constraints) and recommend mitigation actions. Translate
demand forecasts into procurement timing and raw material planning
guidance. Operational Support Develop and maintain Standard
Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to domestic and international
shipments and inventory workflows. Identify opportunities for
process improvement and assist in the implementation of new systems
or enhancements (e.g., QuickBase applications). Collaborate with
internal departments and global teams to align operational
timelines and priorities. Assist in special operational projects as

shipments Familiarity with low-code platforms and the ability to
learn and contribute to QuickBase application development to
support workflow automation and operational efficiency Required
Education and Experience : Experience: 2–4 years of relevant
experience in operations, logistics, procurement, or inventory
management (manufacturing environment preferred). Strong ability to
multitask, manage competing priorities, and work independently with
minimal supervision. Team-oriented mindset and a proactive,
solution-focused attitude. Preferred Education and Experience:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in
business administration, operations, supply chain, or a related
field preferred. Must be able to lift 30lbs No travel required
Monday to Friday - On-site role (remote work not available)
