Performs and monitors a variety of laboratory testing and analysis; and assumes responsibility for problem resolution, quality control, and maintenance with minimal supervision.

*POSITION SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Reports To: *This position reports directly to Laboratory Supervisor and/or Manager

*Supervises: *None

*POSITION REQUIREMENTS :Minimum Education *Associate's degree in lab science or Medical Laboratory Technology

*Minimum Work Experience *Clinical rotation or none required beyond education/training requirement or formal military training.

*Required Licenses/Certifications *Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician by a nationally recognized board/agency

*Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities *Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to maintain a professional image and behavior. Ability to provide excellent customer service. Knowledge and technical proficiency in areas assigned within the laboratory. Knowledge of clinical laboratory medicine and techniques.

*Preferred Qualification : *At least one (1) year experience upon completion of associate degree

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.50 - $36.50 per hour
