IT SOX Compliance Analyst you will assist in the managing of
internal controls compliance for GXO. This will be done by managing
ongoing compliance to process/risk control documentation,
influencing/leading all partners, influencing process/control
owners, solving complex issues related to internal control gaps and
leading internal projects for providing guidance on internal

you'll do on a typical day:* Assist in leading the evolution of the
SOX compliance program through improvement and standardization of
all components of internal control.* Day to day management of
projects to ensure that milestone dates are met and projects are
completed on time.* Assist with clarifying ownership and setting
standards for the design and operating-effectiveness testing of
control activities, application controls and general
information-technology controls.* Identify key control points
within a process / activity and develop test steps and the
documentation of the related workpapers to support conclusions
reached.* Consult on continuous updating of process documentation,
including flowcharts, narratives and risk/control matrices.*
Provide support to IT process owners and IT control-activity owners
in the deficiency-evaluation and remediation process.* Identify and
document weakness in control design and effectiveness based on
analysis performed.* Oversee various aspects of the technology
platform utilized to deliver the GXO SOX program, including
optimization of system functionality and maintenance of all system
data.* Support effective communication to stakeholders through
periodic and ad hoc process-owner meetings, at which expectations
are clarified, changes in regulation are shared, status is
communicated, and training is provided.What you need to succeed at
GXO:At a minimum, you'll need:* Bachelor's degree or equivalent
related work or military experience* 4+ years of experience in
Compliance, External or Internal Audit* Considerable knowledge and
a proven track record in applying internal controls, specifically
as it relates to SOX, process documentation and flowcharting,
control design assessment, test plan design, testing of operational
effectiveness and documenting of deficiencies* Experience with
Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio and
ExcelIt'd be great if you also have:* Strong understanding of the
internal controls framewo* Demonstrated experience in effective
problem solving* Ability to work independently and with minimal
supervision* Effective communicator, ability to build relations &
manage expectations* Knowledge and experience with COSO 2013
internal-control framework and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act* Working
knowledge of SOX best practices and emerging trendsWe engineer
